Overview
Extreme Pressure (EP) is an extreme-pressure (EP) industrial gear oil for enclosed industrial gearing. It is offered in ISO VG 68, ISO VG 100, ISO VG 150, ISO VG 220, ISO VG 320, ISO VG 460, ISO VG 680, ISO VG 1000.
The specification table lists, for each grade, kinematic viscosity at 40 °C and 100 °C, viscosity index, pour point, flash point and four-ball weld load, each with its test method. Share operating conditions with our technical team to confirm the grade before supply.
Application
Enclosed industrial gearboxes
Spur, helical and bevel gear units where the manufacturer specifies an EP gear oil in one of the ISO VG grades offered.

Feature
Viscosity grades checked against ISO 3448
Published kinematic viscosity at 40 °C sits inside the ISO 3448 tolerance (mid-point ±10 %) for ISO VG 68 (69 cSt); ISO VG 100 (99 cSt); ISO VG 150 (151 cSt); ISO VG 220 (224 cSt); ISO VG 320 (321 cSt); ISO VG 460 (465 cSt); ISO VG 680 (684 cSt); ISO VG 1000 (1030 cSt).
Feature
Extended test set
Besides viscosity, the published data includes four-ball weld load, flash point (COC) and foaming tendency.
