Overview

SG Grade, in our motorcycle range, is an engine oil made from mineral base oil and additives for motorcycles. It is supplied in a single grade, SG 20W50.

It is a separate product from the passenger-car SG Grade of the same name. The specification table publishes viscosity at 100 °C of 20.5 cSt, a viscosity index of 125 and a TBN of 9 mg KOH/g.

Application

Four-stroke motorcycles

Motorcycles whose manufacturer specifies an SAE 20W50 engine oil.

Application

Shared engine–gearbox sumps

Many motorcycles lubricate the clutch and gearbox from the engine oil; confirm the manufacturer's clutch-compatibility requirement before use.

Feature
